Same error here. Was worried the download moved to Mega or something but doesn't seem to have!

Honestly, kudos on not using AI, but even if you did it'd be fine. A game is about a lot more than just the art itself and the writing, character development, personalities, etc all matter as well. Anyone who'd snub a game just because it has AI generated art in it (which by the way takes time, effort, etc. on it's own to make it good.) clearly needs to take a step back. That's like watching only movies that have no CGI or digital special effects in them at all.

Of all the games I've played... this is certainly one of them! :-P The gryphon models are pretty nice, their movements are cool too. Had a bit of fun, racked up 150 kills or so. Not a bad way to kill some time.

Seems like v0.3.0 installed in it's own folder. So it's in Itch>apps>Bride of a dead God>Bride of a dead God... where as v0.1.0 is in itch>apps>bride of a dead god... so it's finding that one first and launching it. I just deleted the stuff outside the second folder and now 0.3.0 is launching but I lost all my saves so can't be sure if the pictures are working yet or not.

Picked this back up recently cuz I've seen it's been updated a bit... the first time I played it was before I played Eternum and I never appreciated the Chang cameo... now that I've experienced both these gems though... *chef's kiss* Love it, love this, can't wait to get past where I was before!

Some of them, yeah. I can click the link and the popup shows up and it's fine but some of 'em are not there. Like with the Effie scene... where she shows up in the hood the picture works, but anything after the that like the "Lacy black Lingerie" "On her back" etc nothing pops up.

Edit: So as it turns out, for some reason Itch.io is launching version .1.1 instead of version .3.0... even though I've updated. Not sure what's going on there, but if I go in and manually open .3.0 it loads but I don't have my saves so I'll figure it out from there I guess XD

I've noticed for some reason a lot of the images don't show up when I click on them. Is this because they're not there yet? or is something wrong on my end?

Oh no worries. Typos are bound to happen, but if nobody points them out then they can be easily over looked. Proof reading and all that and I'm sure it's easier for us to see them than you can while looking at all the other stuff you have to put together. Those ones just stuck out to me because it was kinda funny. "My nipples are so sensible." made me chuckle, but in a fun way not a 'this is bad' kinda way. If that makes sense.

As for the images, honestly, I can only tell day and night. But that might be my own issues, I'm not color blind but my color recognition isn't what it should be and they tend to blur together. Like we have a blanket, my wife swears is green, but it's gray to me.

Great game so far. I'm enjoying it a lot, actually. There were a few things I noticed that kinda stand out though, some times the words are wrong. Like you use Sensible instead of Sensitive. Nothing super major and obviously with it being early progress and such I'm sure things will get polished out a lot more!

I would like to make two suggestions though. 1. A 'time of day' indicator, unless I'm blind and missing one somewhere. You know like have it say somewhere 'Morning, Noon, Evening, Night' etc. 2. have 'wait' increase the time of day by one stage instead of jumping straight to night. It's been sad some days when there isn't much to do to pass the time and then I have to milk my cows but by hitting 'wait' it jumps to night and you can't do it!

If I remember correctly (It's been a while) during the freeze time scene in the girl's locker room or whatever, you have the option to unfreeze her. Do that. It'll let her know about your powers.

Amazing so far. The right amount of text on the screen, a good amount of action, the characters are interesting, the format is easy to read (for the most part, here are a few spots where letters went off the screen just a bit or there were typos). Over all, 5/5 so far though and I'm very much waiting patiently for the next update.

Is there a way to hide the submit button during a fight? I was hunting wolves and just speed clicking and.. WHOOPS xD

Is there a reason that Bard and potentially even Geisha don't give any bonuses to Entertain? Both seem like they would lead towards entertainment, though definitely with the Bard.

I have that selected. I've used these types of mods before and on S4P. Turns out, it's ONLY when I click random so if I manually select a portrait it matches just fine, but if I'm hitting random it seems to have an issue. The issue was worth with the Optimizer too, which might mean that I'm just trying to cycle too quickly or something and it's not keeping up and matching the two until it can catch up again xD Either way, if I just click one manually it works fine so no big deal just a little odd how it's doing it.

Having a bit of a problem. Portraits seem to be working fine, but bodies don't seem to want to load/generate with their twinned portraits. Any idea what could be causing this?  The directories are set to the right places (bodies/portraits respectively) and sometimes if I hit 'random enough' a body will pop up that matches the portrait but it then goes away again and even circling back to the same portrait doesn't bring up the body. It's just being weird. IDK.

I've noticed the new addition of the 'wife' section and I assume you can marry someone now... my question is though (and I looked at the wiki and didn't see anything about wives) do any of the girls do anything special? Do they help your household, train your slaves, etc or is it basically just a 'pick your favorite, wife her, and have an additional slave slot'?

As you run out of collars you should be able to talk to one of the slave keeper where you bought the maids from and get more. At least to start with.

Never mind! I tested it and it's just a black screen.

Any hope for this to be added so we can download it from the Itch.io desktop app? Right now there is just a blank selection, at least for me, and it'd be nice to have Itch keep track of it for updates and such!

So, silly question maybe. But if I say no to the 3D images will those scenes be skipped? Black screen? Or what?

Any of the above. I'm using the Itch.io app on my desktop and either via the 'install' button down on the lower right or by clicking on the 'download' button on the page and then going to the selections and selecting any of them, the app still just has a blank thing.

I'd imagine if I went the the page outside the app, it'd be available but for some reason you're not supported on the actual app/manager itself. Even tried checking the 'enable alternative download' box.

The Itch.io app doesn't seem to recognize you have a file to download. The selection is just blank, doesn't say 'hosted on a third party' or anything there is just... no file.

So, I'm curious if I reached the current end of the content. I did the battle at the docks and was told to come back in a few days, it's been over a week and still nothing new. I've done the quests for the shopkeepers, etc, and most of the slave quest seem to be WIP. Is there something I'm missing? Should I keep spending days and see if something new pops up?

Also on that note IS there anything special with any of the slaves or anything currently available? I haven't brought Juno or Michelle into the household yet since space is so limited but if they have something I might sacrifice one of my girls so they can have a place.

Yeah. My C drive is tiny so most my larger files and games and such are on my D drive. So instead of being in 'app data' the portrait and stuff are actually in a folder on my D drive. I've told Strive to look for them there. It finds them just fine, but the 'randomizer' doesn't work. Even when I click random on the character screen it doesn't do anything and nothing auto genned with a picture. I can manually select them, but that's it.

It seems like most of the links in the portraits page are dead now. Unless I'm missing something?  Edit: Never mind. There seem to some but you gotta dig. XD

Edit 2: My portraits and body folders are in a different location... is this effecting the mod's ability to generate random portraits? It doesn't seem to be working. I can set them myself but the random generation isn't working.

Not sure if it works or not, haven't tested it yet, but if you go to your Strive settings.ini in your appdata/roaming/strive4power2 area you can change no_breed_incompatibility= to true instead of false and try that.

Edit: So yeah, this doesn't seem to work. Still get the same message about no pregnancy and such. Not sure why the option is there if it can't be used. xD

Hey, and let me know if this is out of line and I'll delete the comment, but I notice you mention other creators and reference some other games here and there. I've tried to find some of them on itch.io (searched for the creator names you've mentioned and some of the game titles) but I haven't had any luck. Is there somewhere I should be looking, or a way to find them a bit easier? I'd like to at least drop them a follow or something.

This has been great so far. Sometime the art style sets me back a bit with some of the angles, but overall it's great and the story? Holy shit. This story is amazing and has me invested in it a lot more than the porn. This isn't a porn game, this is a superpower game with sex in it IMO.

The Tiger Bank wants a mind broken slave. I do have the one you find early on, but she seems like she might be something useful. How do you mind break your other slaves? Is it possible?

No problem! Like I said, I knew it was a weird question but thought I'd ask. I'm not that far into the game yet and so far it's good. Right amount of laughs, fun characters, and sexy girls all the same!

Maybe a weird question, but is there a 'shaven' option for the girls or anything of the sort? A toggle for all or something? Just hate the look of it on 3D renders, anime or 'real' alike. Always have. XD

Does the act 2 download include everything or do I need two separate downloads?
